Facebook is expanding its preferred marketing developers program with the debut of a new online portal.
The digital hub will be stocked with tools that the Facebook PMD unit thinks are essential for building enterprise apps, which in turn should help build and promote brands and related campaigns.

The PMD Center will enable company profiles listed on Facebook to go more into depth and offer more business-related information, such as white papers and case studies.
Additional features available with the new PMD Center include showcasing partners and the option for marketers to submit requests for proposals through integrated forms.

Since launching last April, the Facebook Preferred Marketing Developers program has grown to encompass more than 260 members in over 35 countries.
Edward Esslemont, a program systems manager for the PMD team at Facebook, wrote in a blog post on Monday that with the launch of this center, Facebook hopes it will make it "even easier for marketers to get started doing business with PMDs."
