IPhone 4 OS Migration to iOS5

Backup path of Windows Vista

C:/Document And Settings/UserName/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media -> Application Location (Requirement)
C:/Document And Settings/UserName/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media -> Music Location (Optional)

This is hidden folder so if want to see this folder change setting from  
Start -> Setting -> Controller Panel -> Folder Option -> Second Tab View Click -> Hidden Files and Folder enable. 

iTunes Media folder copy to external harddisk. When you bought application at AppStore in iTunes Media folder.

 

Or iTunes folder copy to external Harddisk. When back up process after restore that folder to same location.

If you already have iTunes on your PCplease check version if version is under 10.5 uninstall and download and install10.5 versions flowing link.

 

As also hard disk value more than 2GBspace.

IPad:                            707.20MB

IPhone& iPod:            774.4MB    Download.

If your laptop user please de-activate ofscreen mute. Because as normally 20 minute later screen mute mode start fromyour system migration will stop and start begin.

 

This is not fixable environment but if takelong time for screen mute back to normal not per sure but sometime will lostdata. Just wandering.

 

My Upgrade environment

Toshiba Satellite A300

CPU:                          Intel® Core™2 Duo T9300

GPU:                         ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650

Memory:                          4GB

HDD:                         500GB

ExternalHard Disk        Buffalo 1TB

OperationSystem           WindowsVista Home Premium 32Bit

IPhone Sync Cable, patience and time. As good connectivity of iPhone and system. Before start migration. Port from iPhoneand USB port of Laptop both side will check as also during the migration disconnect of cable of any side you’re data will lost everything.

 

But only restore 100% data? Every time backup data when you connect to system. Even system will not start sync? Sync by manually.

 

Go to iTunes and left side find iPhone andiPod, iPad than mouse right click sub menu choose backup.

 

Backup will location at C:/Document AndSettings/User Name/Music/iTunes.

Here the end of back up process and whyneed to backup is important.

After migrationhardware seed-up more than 50% UP after restore.

 

IPhone 4 16GB after installation current value for disk version 4.3.5 is normal value is 14GB

But after update disk total value is 13.7GB it means iOS5 is largest of OS than version4.3.5.

 

PS. After installation iPhone was faster than 4.3.5 but some of application working butsome of application it wasn’t working reason for most of application minimum requirementas iOS4.

It means OS is bugsfixed and very stable every no all application adaptation to iOS4. Allapplication will normalize soon. It takes about need more time for update other application and stable apps store. Specially some of application required of movie player it's having trouble with iOS5.    

 Important : During migration when you see iTunes left side of bottom message of data receiving dual or single. Please choose dual. If not? You will spend to double time(5~6 Hour). If you choose dual  amount 750MB data download with 100MB LAN under 10minute. Total installation include download file amount 1Hour.  

And more higher priority

1) Network cable connection from system to iPhone,   

2) iPhone Sync cable from iPhone to PC(Laptop or Desktop),

3) All cable connective condition.

4) Screen Saver & Screen Mute option will stop during migration. Because from suspend to normal mode will if PC doesn't respond system will start again. (Will lost PC and all data)

5) Top Priority for Korean user. 
All process will start in the afternoon. Because all server from state(i guessed) so If possible to check world time will avoid to heavy traffic. Even Asia best hour my recommendation is 2 to 6 PM.

6) When you finished migration please check all application as in your iPhone if you not?
Going to Appstore and touch purchased. When you go to purchased it is two list.One is all other is Not on This iPhone. All means from apple account it means all apple product not on This iPhone -> Not on This iPhone but download someday but this way is spend many time for download so i though better idea is flowing backup process will more easy and successfully migration will done.
